MCT-5002SFPPLUS is a 10G high-speed Ethernet media converter with IEEE 802.3bz 10G NBASE-T 5-speed (100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G) Ethernet support, which is compatible with existing 1G network environment while upgrading to 2.5G/5G/10G without replacing current cabling infrastructure.
MCT-5002SFPPLUS supports one 10GBASE-R SFP+ optical interface, and it provides flexible options for 10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-LR, 10GBASE-BR or 10G DAC (Direct Attached Cable) SFP+ transceiver.
Owning to the compatibility with the transmission speed of the conversion, MCT-5002SFPPLUS in the best solution for upgrading your existing networking infrastructure through a wide range of 5 speed (100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G) options.

- Loopback mode: Support loopback on 10G SFP+ interface, all frames received on loopback mode will be transmitted back.
- Link Alarm: Either Fiber or RJ45 when port link down is detected during operation, the other port will be automatically turned off to alert the user.
- Fully Compatible with MCT-RACK Chassis Series: Space-saving and budget-limited solution for MCT-RACK chassis series to mix the installation of MCT series converters.
- In Rack Management: Support CTS MCT-RACK management, it allows administrators to configure and monitor the slide-in media converters such as port speed, shutdown and SFP DDMIinformation.
- Full compatible with CTS MCT-RACK-12/MCT-RACK-18-MGM/MCT-RACK-2 chassis for in-rack management
